Coyote Pups
We know Coyote Pups are curious and imaginative. That’s why we make each week at nature school a new adventure! We wander through the forest to find cool mysteries, play games that transform us into sneaky animals, and sing songs about nature’s wonders. By spending time outside with new friends and caring instructors, Coyote Pups build independence, social skills and resilience. We spark a love of nature that will last their entire lives!
Coyote Pups is a nature school program in Toronto, designed for children aged 4 to 6. In this program, they learn:
- About common plants and animals that share our environment
- How to identify and manage things that could be harmful
- Basic survival skills like fire-building and tool use
This is the BEST education beyond the standard classroom. It offers children hands on learning by instructors who care about each child as an individual, providing them with a wealth of knowledge of the natural world in a classroom that is ever changing.

2024/25 Season Details:
This is a year round program with 29 sessions. Sessions occur on a weekly basis between September 30th - June 6th, 2025, with seasonal breaks. Registered participants will receive the full schedule.
Participants typically register for one half-day session per week (see session options below).
WEST END: King’s Mill Park / Etienne Brule Park
EAST END: Stan Wadlow Park
A payment plan is available. Bursaries are available through our Bursary Fund.
We welcome registrations at any time during the year for programs with availability. A prorated price will be applied.

Registration
Registration for new participants for the 2024/25 season opens on May 15th at 12pm (noon)! To view availability and apply to register, click the ‘Register’ button below and complete an application.
If a program is full, we encourage you to sign up to waitlists! We typically see some turnover throughout the year and we’d love to let you know if a spot opens up.
