Red Wolf Overnight Camp

Find yourself in the woods this summer.

Live in the woods: Less stuff. More skills. More confidence, connection, and independence.

At Red Wolf, kids and teens get the rare chance to fully immerse themselves in Haliburton’s backcountry. Living in the woods with peers and experienced mentors, campers explore forests and lakes, sleep in tents, learn real wilderness skills, play games, create with their hands, and make close friends.

They come home with new skills and great stories, along with greater confidence, independence, and a deeper connection to nature.

Life at Red Wolf

Red Wolf takes camp into the backcountry. Campers live together in the woods, sleep in tents, cook over fires, swim and paddle, carve and craft, track wildlife, forage, build shelters, play games, share stories, and spend their days exploring the land around them.

There are no cabins or dining halls. Instead, campers become part of a close-knit community and learn to feel comfortable and capable outdoors, with experienced mentors there to guide them every step of the way. Think the fun and community of summer camp, with the immersion and simplicity of a backcountry canoe trip.
