Summer Day Camp
Pine’s Summer Day Camps in Toronto are all about getting kids outside, connecting with nature and having fun. Campers have the chance to explore city parks, play nature games, learn new wilderness and naturalist skills, and connect with their peers.
Looking for an option for teens? Check out our Teen Urban Summer Program for teens ages 13-15, and our Leaders in Training (LIT) program for teens ages 14-16.
Pine’s Summer Day Camp in 2024:
Campers will spend each day exploring habitats, finding nature treasures, and building their survival skills! Each day will be filled with nature connection activities like playing scavenger hunts, tracking animals, identifying wildflowers, or maybe even watching the resident red-tailed hawk hunt in the meadow. By the end of the week, campers will return home bursting with excitement about nature challenges, confident in their new skills and inspired to learn more about the natural world.
Summer day camp activities may include:
- Nature-based games and team challenges
- Working with hand tools and managing risk
- Identifying plants and animals
- Animal tracking and ecology
- Crafting with natural materials
- Storytelling and singing

Summer 2024 Session Details:
This is a summer day camp in Toronto lasting one week with daily sessions.
Our camps register by age ranges (4-6, 7-9, 10-12), however, individual camp groups are created closer to the start of camp and allow for mixing between ages - as always, we will do our best to accommodate friend requests, but cannot make guarantees.
King's Mill Park (West End)

*Price for 4 day weeks (July 2-5, August 6-9): $380
Before care: 8:30am – 9:00am: $25/week (*$20 for 4 day week)
After care: 3:30pm – 5:30pm: $70/week (*$56 for 4 day week)
There are limited spaces available in Before and After Care. Families can register for Before/After Care through our registration system.
Bursaries are available through our Bursary Fund.
A $100 deposit is required upon registration. If payment in full creates financial hardship for your family, please reach out to our team at info@pineproject.org to discuss a custom payment plan.

The Pine Project offers additional support for children with varying exceptionalities and abilities. We offer a limited number of spots with an alternative ratio of 1:1 for each week at our day camp sessions throughout the summer. The office will follow up with each request to determine your family’s needs. 1:1 Camper Support: $325/week (*$285 for 4 day week)

Campers are welcome to join us for multiple one-week sessions! If a camp is full, we strongly encourage you to sign up to waitlists. We typically see quite a bit of movement on our waitlists before camps begin and we’d love to let you know if a spot opens up.
