Adventure Out
Immerse yourself in nature! Our out-of-Toronto day camps and outdoor school program offers kids the chance to deepen their connection to nature and advance their outdoor skills in a wilderness setting. With many acres to explore, we wander through forests and wetlands, harvest plants, make tools, build structures, and more.
By adventuring out the city for a full day, participants have an opportunity to tackle larger and longer-term projects, practice skills they’re unable to in city parks, form strong connections with peers and mentors, and develop a deeper understanding of their local environment.

Content for Adventure Out may include learning:
- About a wide array of plants and animals that share our environment
- How different plants can be used
- How to identify and manage risk
- Survival skills like fire-building, carving, and long term shelter-building
- Teamwork, leadership, overcoming challenges and problem-solving
- Stewardship practices

2025/26 Season Details:
This is a year round program with 29 sessions. Sessions occur on a weekly basis between September 29th - June 5th, 2026, with seasonal breaks. Registered participants will receive the full schedule.
Schomberg: Departing from West End (King's Mill Park)
A payment plan is available. Bursaries are available through our Bursary Fund.
We welcome registrations at any time during the year for programs with availability. A prorated price will be applied.

Registration for the 2025/2026 Outdoor School seasons opens on May 21st at 12pm (noon)!

If a program is full, we encourage you to sign up to waitlists! We typically see some turnover throughout the year and we’d love to let you know if a spot opens up.
