Our Impact

Fostering growth, connection, and care for nature.

Research shows that time in nature supports children’s health, well-being, and learning. At Pine, we see these benefits come to life. Each year, we reach over 2,300 children and youth across more than 230 days outdoors, helping them build confidence, resilience, and deep, lasting connections — to themselves, to others, and to the land.

We believe every child deserves the chance to experience the transformative power of nature. We’re especially proud to partner with schools and community organizations to expand access for equity-deserving children and youth who face barriers to outdoor experiences.

Our impact goes hand in hand with our own learning. We embrace evidence-based evaluation approaches, including family surveys, individual feedback, staff insights, and participant stories, to understand what’s working, where we can grow, and how we can have the greatest possible impact for the children we serve.

Together with our incredible community of mentors, families, donors, and partners, we are growing a future where all children feel they belong in nature and are inspired to care for it.
