Building on the success of last year’s partnership, Pine is thrilled to once again be partnering with the Eastview Neighbourhood Community Centre! We’re excited to be joining the Eastview BGC Afterschool Program for a second year to bring weekly nature connection programming to children in Toronto’s Blake-Jones neighbourhood.
Programs kicked off earlier this month, and so far kids and mentors have been spending their time together learning about the local animals that we share the neighbourhood with, playing nature-inspired games, and exploring a museum full of local nature finds. It’s been a great start to what will surely be a year filled with connection building and inspiring a love of nature!
We’re incredibly grateful for the generosity and support of Canadian Tire Jumpstart, TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, and the Johansen Larsen Foundation for making it possible for Pine to offer this weekly nature connection programming free of charge!
