Summer Day Camps Operations Coordinator
The Operations Coordinator is a crucial role within our summer camp team. This position is geared towards someone who loves the outdoors and enjoys working with children, but also appreciates being behind the scenes. Operations Coordinators are involved in both leading nature connection programming for campers aged 4 to 12 as well as maintaining a safe environment for campers and staff including managing equipment and driving a company vehicle. Operations Coordinators work to embody respect, gratitude, awareness, life-long learning, and resilience, in alignment with our core values.

Summer Day Camp Inclusion Coordinator
The Pine Project is seeking an Inclusion Coordinator/Counsellor! The Inclusion Coordinator/Counsellor works with program teams to maintain safe environments for participants who need additional support, promote health and well-being, build relationships, plan programs, apply intervention strategies, and communicate with the team in the field and office as necessary.
This position involves working outside to provide 1:1 support for kids. When 1:1 support is not required, this position will take on the responsibilities of a Counsellor. Naturalist knowledge, experience working with children with disabilities, and experience working in the outdoors are key elements of the role. Pine staff work to embody respect, gratitude, awareness, life-long learning, and resilience, in alignment with our core values.

Summer Camp Backcountry Apprentice
The Pine Project is looking for Apprentices to support our Red Wolf Summer Camp team. This position is ideal for teens looking to gain experience in leadership, teaching and working with kids, all while developing their naturalist and wilderness skills, spending days outside, and having a really great time. As an Apprentice, you’ll earn valuable experience in our unique mentoring approach, develop your wilderness skills and proficiency, and have the opportunity to learn in-depth naturalist skills from our experienced staff. You’ll gain entry-level work experience, references, and a ton of transferable skills and knowledge to further build up your resume.

Summer Camp Backcountry Instructor
The Pine Project is seeking Instructors to join our Red Wolf Overnight Wilderness Camp team. Unlike many overnight camps, Red Wolf Overnight Wilderness Camp takes place in a backcountry setting, with campers and staff living in tents, cooking over open fires, and living in harmony with the land. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with outdoor education experience, particularly backcountry and adventure-programming experience. Working under the supervision of the Camp Manager, Red Wolf Camp Instructors are responsible for a variety of different areas of camp life including running games and activities in a backcountry setting, as well as preparing meals and supporting campers in learning how to live off the land.

Red Wolf Food Coordinator (Overnight)
The Pine Project is seeking a skilled backcountry food coordinator to join our Red Wolf Overnight Wilderness Camp staff team. Reporting to the Red Wolf Camp Manager, the Food Coordinator will be responsible for food planning, purchasing, packing and tracking inventory. Unlike many overnight camps, the entirety of Red Wolf Overnight Wilderness Camp takes place in a backcountry setting, with campers and staff living in tents, cooking for themselves over open fires, and living in harmony with the land. As such, this role is critical to ensuring the success of our camp. The Food Coordinator would live on site in a lodge setting for the duration of the contract. If applicants have the ability to commute back and forth then staying on site is not necessary.
